Job Description

Barnet Products is #hiring a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Englewood Cliffs finance team. This position reports to the Controller. If you have a passion for month end closing processes, reconciling balance sheets and GL accounts, investigating and resolving account discrepancies, assisting in A/R and A/P functions as well as other accounting duties, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Responsible for month end close processes for Barnet and Subsidiaries (including but not limited to):

  • Maintain and reconcile Balance Sheet and General Ledger Accounts and enter standard entries
  • Process employee expense reimbursements and analyze T&E spending
  • Process commissions for sales agents (monthly, quarterly)
  • Establish appropriate accruals based on analysis of monthly expenditures and vendor invoices
  • Investigate and resolve account discrepancies
  • Manage accurate supporting documentation for all GL accounts and transactions
  • Assist with monthly financial statement preparations
  • Assist with annual audit preparations and gathering requested documents
  • Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required/assigned
  • Assist in A/R and A/P functions as required

Assist in FP&A:

  • Assist with establishing annual budget and mid-year forecasts
  • Assist with variance analysis (actual vs budget vs latest forecast)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting/finance
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP
  • Excel proficiency including pivot tables, VLOOKUP and index/match etc.

Job Description

Barnet is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager who will report into the Marketing Director and will work alongside internal stakeholders and members of Barnet Products, including the marketing and sales teams, in order to achieve our Company sales goals, improve customer communications and be hands-on in terms of conceptualization, creation, and implementation of digital marketing campaigns and strategies for our B2B corporate social media, email marketing, CRM/lead generation, digital marketing, and ads.

This position is located 100% onsite in our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office. The ideal candidate will plan, manage, and oversee all aspects of the corporate digital marketing campaign to effectively promote our brand’s products. This candidate will have experience in detailed marketing strategy, as well as experience with dashboards and reporting. They will implement a clear vision leveraging the company’s branded content, creativity, and out of the box thinking.

The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, able to plan and execute against a fast-paced calendar, and able to translate results to share with executive management.

Responsibilities

  • Gain and maintain a working knowledge of the Company's products, customers, goals, existing sales tools (website, app, literature, etc.) and initiatives.

Job Description

Barnet’s Product Development team is looking for someone to support the Internal Barnet Branded Development program through ideation, research, design, and creativity in order to achieve raw material development goals. The ideal candidate will utilize knowledge and experience from raw material, formulation background in order to aid in the conceptualization of new innovative raw materials and see the R&D process from formulation creation through manufacturing launch. This individual will work in a team-oriented environment with strong collaboration with the product development team. This candidate will have strong personal/communication skills, as this role will interact with several internal departments and various external vendors.

  • Independently research potential new ingredients [including outside the industry] and literature that would fit into the company’s product portfolio whitespaces
